About Steven Deal
Following receipt of a MBA with a specialization in Real Estate Finance from the University of Alabama, Steven went to work in Birmingham leasing retail space on behalf of Books-A-Million, Inc. before moving on to Regions Financial where he analyzed a diverse range of commercial real estate transactions and markets in the bank’s Risk Management group. A sixth generation Tuscaloosa and Northport native, Steven decided to return to his hometown in 2012 to work for Pritchett-Moore and specialize in commercial and investment real estate transactions and development.
In April 2013, Steven was awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, joining more than 15,000 commercial real estate professionals worldwide. The designation requires the successful completion of more than 200 hours of case-study driven education covering topics such as financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis, and investment analysis for commercial investment real estate. Candidates must also compile a portfolio demonstrating the depth of their commercial real estate experience.
Steven’s wife Lindsey is employed with Raymond James Financial and both she and Steven are excited by the growth and renewal underway in Tuscaloosa. In June 2014, they welcomed their first child, William, into the world.
With a wide scope of experience in commercial and investment transactions and development, Steven continues to be a top producer in the greater Tuscaloosa and Northport area.
